HBO's critically acclaimed comedy series "High Maintenance" won't be returning to the network, TVLine reports.

Created by former husband and wife Katja Blichfeld and Ben Sinclair (who played the main character, The Guy), the show, which often featured several LGBTQ characters, ran for four seasons on HBO and six seasons before that as a web series.

"Co-creators Katja Blichfeld and Ben Sinclair have decided to take a break from producing High Maintenance to pursue other projects," an HBO rep said in a statement to TVLine. "We look forward to hearing what they come up with next."

The news comes as HBO announced their hit comedy "Insecure" will end with its upcoming fifth season.

"High Maintenance" follows The Guy as he sells weed across New York City with the show often focusing on the lives of his customers. Its outstanding fourth and final season debuted in early 2020.
