Last month "Queer Eye" star Jonathan Van Ness opened up on Instagram about their use of Ozempic-like shots to shed some weight. Now they're showing off their newly svelte style with a pair of before and after pics on their Instagram Stories that document a 66-pound. weight loss, according to UK newspaper the Daily Mail.

The difference was striking, with the "after" photo showing a much thinner Van Ness flexing an arm and cutting a waspish figure with a flat stomach.

People Magazine shared that Van Ness – who identifies as non-binary and uses "they/them" as well as "he/him" and "she/her" pronouns – took to Instagram Stories on Feb. 23 to share the pics, warning fans that they were "Gonna be basic" with the side-by-side snaps, and advising, "It's weight related and I know that pisses people off so giving you a chance to skip here."

As they had previously, Van Ness credited "glp-1s," hormone-mimicking drugs like Ozempic that help quash signals of hunger. But that was only part of the equation, the celebrity stylist posted.

"First was my diet obvs," the "Queer Eye" cast member listed, having explained previously that their "binge eating disorder" had sabotaged earlier attempts at weight control.

Along with that, JVN detailed, was their consumption of "way less alcohol" – a major source of empty calories.

But it was "group pilates," JVN added, that had been "most pivotal" to their transformation. The changes, they added, weren't limited to their waistline.

"My mental health and overall feeling is a different universe since last year," Van Ness recounted, "and the biggest change was group fitness."

As previously reported, Van Ness acknowledged in their post last month that they had "gained and lost weight several times, very publicly," and they "knew that I needed a little bit of extra help."

"With everything that I have been through publicly and privately in the last couple of years, I gained quite a bit of weight, I was not feeling good and the most important thing was that my binge eating disorder was out of control," the "Queer Eye" star went on to add.

"The impulsive eating and binging left me feeling really not good, depressed and out of control," JVN continued. A physician recommended GLP-1, which they had tried in the form of pills previously but found that the pills "did not work for me."

At that point, the doctor advised trying injections, and the results were dramatically different.

"This was back in September, and I felt immediately better," JVN narrated in the post's video. "For the first time in my life, I have had control over my food intake."

"It has helped me so massively and that is part of why I want to be so honest with you because I know how important asking for help is and how much it can change your life in terms of healing."

But, the non-binary grooming guru noted in Sunday's Instagram Stories post, any given individual may find that their mileage may vary. "Take what works for you," Van Ness encouraged fans on their own health journeys, "and leave the rest."
