Is Brotherly Love on 'The White Lotus' Going a Step Too Far?

Amongst the tourists who travel to Thailand on Season 3 of "The White Lotus" is an uber-wealthy family from North Carolina – the Ratliffs, led by financier Timothy (Jason Isaacs), his pushy wife Victoria (Parker Posey with an Southern accent she must have picked up from Babble), and their three children: the oldest Saxon (series heartthrob Patrick Schwarzenegger), a super-horny bro who is out-of-his-league when he tries his pick-up techniques with women at the resort; Piper, the middle-child who prodded her family to head to Thailand so she could research eastern religions for her thesis; and Lachlan (Sam Nivola), a high school senior being forced to follow in the family tradition of attending Duke, which is an issue for him.

While Victoria says to their designated White Lotus staffer Pam (Morgana O'Reilly) that they are a typical All American family, that facade crumbled moments before when Saxon chided his brother for wanting to share a bedroom with his sister (and not him). He said iit was 'weird' if a brother and sister sleep in the same room when they have 'full grown genitals.'

But the sexual tension is largely between the two brothers with Saxon mentoring his younger brother in art of seduction; but the joke is he is hopeless at scoring with the sophisticated clientele of the resort. Still this doesn't keep him from showing off his toned physique to everyone within reach.

And that includes Lachlan in the season opener's most electric moment. As the brothers bunk down for the night, Saxon asks his brother what porn he likes as he navigates on his tablet. He then complains that he doesn't know how he's going to "jerk off all week" with his brother in the next bunk. "I'll just go to the bathroom," Saxon says, as he walks to the bathroom fully nude, leaving the door open with Lachlan looking on with an expression of obvious interest, a hint that his incestuous desires are with the sibling he is bunking with. When Saxon catches his brother's stare, he closes the door, but likely had picked up on the sexual vibe.

Twitter exploded with comments about the possible incest between the two brothers and/or their sister.
