Nicholas Hoult, who starred opposite Elle Fanning in Hulu's costume drama "The Great" for three seasons, opened up with a very naughty anecdote from his time working with Clint Eastwood on the legendary director's latest film, "Juror #2."
People Magazine reports that on the Dec. 19 episode of "Late Night with Seth Meyers," the star of the "Nosferatu" remake shared the hilarious, and filthy, nickname Eastwood gave him on the movie's set – a sobriquet Hoult said was inspired by his turn as Russian Emperor Peter III in "The Great."
Saying that the "Dirty Harry" actor has "a wicked sense of humor," Hoult told Meyers, "I learned this because his nickname he gave me was Captain Lingus."
As in, he clarified, "Cunnilingus."
Eastwood tagged him with the nickname, Hoult said, because he is a fan of "The Great" – "and my character in that is meant to be very good [at cunnilingus]," Hoult explained, adding, "he calls it his 'tongue trick.'"
Eastwood, inspired by the Hulu series, "would salute me in the mornings and say, 'Cap'n Lingus,'" Hoult shared, "and that memory will forever live with me, and I'd like you all to refer to me as that from now on."
Well, if you insist.
Calling his experience working with Eastwood "magical," and saying that the "Any Which Way but Loose" star – who has directed more than 40 features, including the Oscar-winning "Million Dollar Baby" – Hoult opined that Eastwood is "a like a jazz musician of a director; he's very musical in life as a person, but the way he creates, there's kind of this flow and relaxed nature to it."
Hoult's hilarious "Juror #2" anecdote isn't the only funny, filthy story about moviemaking he's shared recently. He also made headlines when he described for "Nosferatu" co-star Lily-Rose Depp the NSFW souvenir the film's director, Robert Eggers, sent him: A prosthetic penis used by actor Bill Skarsgård, who portrays the bloodsucking Count Orlok in the vampire drama.
Hoult plays Thomas Hutter, the husband of the Ellen (Depp), for whom Orlok has an insatiable hunger. In the video for Elle, Hoult revealed the reason for the gift: "There's a scene where Bill Skarsgård is slurping my blood, and Robert Eggers asked afterward, 'How was that for you?,'" Hoult recounted. "And I said, 'I could feel his prosthetic penis on my leg.'
"And then, as a wrap gift, Rob got it framed, and he sent it to my house."
