'SNL' Star Bowen Yang & Comedian Joel Kim Booster to Star in 'Fire Island' Rom-Com

"Saturday Night Live" star Bowen Yang and comedian Joel Kim Booster are set to star in "Fire Island," a rom-com that is described as a modern take on Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice," Variety reports.
The two best friends embark on a weeklong vacation to the gay vacation spot in New York and the hilarity ensues from there. What's more is Booster and Yang are also real-life friends, so the film is sure to play up their natural chemistry.
The film will be helmed by out director Andrew Ahn ("Driveways," "Spa Night") with a script from Booster. The film is expected to begin shooting in August on location.
The film is set to be exclusively released via Hulu.
