Watch: Jane Fonda Reacts to Megyn Kelly's 'Weird' Plastic Surgery Question

READ TIME: 2 MIN.

Jane Fonda is reacting to Megyn Kelly's terrible interview where she asked the Oscar-winning actress about getting plastic surgery.

Fonda stopped by "Megyn Kelly Today" Wednesday along with Robert Redford, where the two promoted their new Netflix movie "Our Souls at Night." During the chat, the former Fox News reporter inexplicably asked the 79-year-old Hollywood icon about getting plastic surgery, leaving Fonda completely vexed.

Speaking with Entertainment Tonight Canada shortly after the Kelly interview, Fonda was asked if she was "shocked" by the question.

"Given the fact that we don't have a lot of time and Bob is right here, it's a weird thing to bring up - whether I've had plastic surgery or not," she explained. "I have and I've talked about it. Seemed like the wrong time and place to ask that question."

ET Canada also asked Redford how he felt Fonda "handled" Kelly's question.

"That didn't involve me because I haven't had it," he said. "Jane just pushed it away, didn't she? She didn't want to go there. She didn't want the show to turn into about her and surgery or look.

"It's about the quality of her performance. I wasn't paying a lot of attention," the actor jokes.

This is the second time this week Kelly and her new show made headlines for all the wrong reasons. Before the Fonda gaffe, Kelly came under fire when she had the cast of "Will & Grace" on her program. The blunder came when she asked a super fan if the sitcom made him gay. Later, star Debra Messing said she regretted going on Kelly's show.
