Someone didn't do their anti-gay homework!

Evangelist Franklin Graham, son of Rev. Billy Graham, put up a big stink about having his organization's money in Wells Fargo Bank after he realized the company recently put out a pro-gay ad, which featured a same-sex couple.

Graham took to Facebook on June 5 to lash out against Wells Fargo.

"Have you ever asked yourself-how can we fight the tide of moral decay that is being crammed down our throats by big business, the media, and the gay & lesbian community?" wrote Graham, president and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. "Wells Fargo bank is using a same-sex couple in their advertising. And there are more. But it has dawned on me that we don't have to do business with them. At the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, we are moving our accounts from Wells Fargo to another bank."

After claiming Wells Fargo is promoting a "godless lifestyle," Graham urged his 1.6 million Facebook followers to boycott the bank.

"Let's just stop doing business with those who promote sin and stand against Almighty God's laws and His standards. Maybe if enough of us do this, it will get their attention," he wrote.

Right Wing Watch reports Graham went on the Family Research Council's radio show and told host Craig James he was moving his money from Wells Fargo to the Carolina-based BB&T bank. He said he only wants a bank that tells him about interests rates and what service charges ill be, Graham insisted banks should not get political.

"At Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, we're closing our accounts at Wells Fargo and moving it to another bank here in North Carolina, BB&T that is a good bank, and we've done business with for many years and it's just a good solid bank,"Graham said. He added his new bank will save his organization about $100,000 in service charges.

But it looks like Graham didn't do all his research. Because if he did, he would have realized that BB&T supports the LGBT community.

According to Right Wing Watch, BB&T is listed as a sponsor for the Miami Beach Gay Pride Parade and is also a major sponsor of the Legacy Couples program in South Florida, which honors committed same-sex couples.

"For more than 140 years, BB&T has supported the goals of our clients, friends and neighbors by sharing financial knowledge and guidance," Arthur Costa, BB&T Regional Multicultural Markets Officer, said, according to Raw Story. "We also support the individuals and organizations that broaden our perspectives and strengthen the diverse fabric of our communities. That's why BB&T is proud to be a part of this day of pride and celebration of the 2015 Legacy Couples."
