MIAMI BEACH, FL - What started out in a basement in Manhattan's Upper East Side in the 1950's, and quickly became the go to spot for whimsical food and never before seen desserts, has now taken up shop on Miami Beach's Lincoln Road complete with a full dining menu and bar.

Serendipity 3, the eatery that essentially became a household name stemming from its out of this world "Frozzzen Hot Chocolate" introduces a full-scale restaurant with an acclaimed menu, prepared by Executive Chef Chad Ellis. Serendipity, which means "the art of finding the pleasantly unexpected by chance or sagacity," does just that.

With a menu of more than 50 dishes, Serendipity 3 and Chef Ellis turn out items that include starters like Wagyu Kobe Beef Sliders, Chicken Satay Lettuce Wraps and Tropical Tuna Tacos. Entrees run the gamut from gourmet hand-tossed pizzas and towering burgers to Florida Black Grouper with a panzanella salad, "Drop Your Skirt Steak Frites," and Fried Chicken & Waffles. Young or old, dieting or not, the approachable menu features something for everyone. The diverse menu even has many "Sobe Fit" denoted dishes, perfect for the bikini conscious South Beach diner, or those who are saving the calories for the larger than life desserts.

Unlike most restaurants where it might be a question whether or not to order dessert, at Serendipity 3 it's a necessity. From soaring high cakes and loaded sundaes to shakes and floats, the options are endless to complete your experience.

There's also, of course, the one item that has almost become synonymous with Serendipity 3; the "Frozzzen Hot Chocolate." A guarded secret of coco powders blended with ice and milk. The Froho is served in a classic ice cream shop goblet, topped with whip cream and dark chocolate shavings. Stepping up where NYC stopped is the 20-foot bar, stocked with a full selection of liquor and numerous choices for wine and Champagne. For those looking to marry the desserts with the liquors there's a collection of signature cocktails. The "Cake" a Martini made with cake infused Vodka is layered with sweetened shaken cream, rainbow sprinkles and garnished with skewered cubed cake. If you're set on watching the bottom line, the bar also has an option for that: the 'Size-0' is made with Vodka, muddled strawberries, cucumber, and Lemonade Crystal Light, served on the rocks. And yes, you can get your Frozzzen Hot Chocolate with a boost of liquor.

A relaxed, yet refined environment, Serendipity 3 keeps the Alice in Wonderland charm while keeping the class, making it as comfortable for kids as it is adults.
