Out British comedian and a close friend of Adele Alan Carr said the singer's album will be out next month.

Speaking with the outlet Grazia UK, Carr said Adele's long awaited and much anticipated fourth album will arrive in February. In the interview, the "RuPaul's Drag Race U.K." judge was asked which pop star will have a new album next month: Adele, Cardi B or Rihanna.

"Adele, isn't it?" Carr asked. "I've actually heard some tracks on it. Oh my God, it's amazing — so amazing."

He added that the music he heard may have since changed.

"They change all the time. They're really rough things," Carr said. "I said to her, 'That voice is like an old friend,' because there are some people in the charts who sound a bit like Adele and then when you hear Adele's voice, you go, 'Oh no, there's only one.'"

Variety noted that Adele's rep did not comment when asked to confirm her new album.

Adele's last album, "25," was released in 2015. Last year, she hosted "Saturday Night Live" (but didn't perform) and noted that her album will likely be out in 2021.

"My album isn't finished yet, I'd rather just put on some wigs, have a glass of wine or six and see what happens," she said during her opening monologue. After the show on Instagram, she wrote: "I'm going back to my cave now to be the (single) cat lady that I am! Peace out til next year."
